The entire crew at Genesis'88 Radio are pleased to announce we are relaunching this Friday 17th August. Kicking the weekend off is a long session by original Genesis'88 promoter Wayne Anthony. As many of you already know, Wayne is considered one of the pioneers of large scale all-night dance parties and certainly knows his tunes. Genesis'88 Radio has been off air due to technical issues so boring its not worth speaking about.
The radio station is back in full glorious pirate radio style and invite all listeners to tune in on Friday. If you were too young at the time of Acid House then consider this a Master Crash Course. Apart from organising some of the biggest illegal parties in the UK Wayne also wrote a best selling cult book called Class of 88 - The True Acid House Experience and then wrote one of the first books on club-life in Ibiza called Spanish Highs - Sex, Drugs & Excess in Ibiza.
Wayne Anthony is a true legend in the industry and respected globally for numerous projects undertaken. Genesis'88 Radio is his Love Child and so plans are currently being drafted to bring a number of big name DJs to the station. Although this network is more about the music than whose who blah blah blah... We are all about promoting DJs along their way including respected regulars and top named guests. The DJs at Genesis'88 Radio are all about the music...They can also be booked for Events. This is the first post on our new Blog but we'll get around to naming all the DJs with biographies, photos, etc
